I have just completed a 15-month contract as an ecological research assistant at the National Ecological Observatory Network, Inc., in Boulder, Colorado, where I compiled and analyzed field and museum collection data, sampled insect specimens for DNA barcoding and prepared BOLD submission packets, and drafted documents for collections and integrated pest management for NEON's upcoming bioarchive initiative. I am actively seeking employment in the ecological or environmental fields and would welcome information or job leads, particularly in the Portland, Oregon area.
