Dr. Michael Everest currently serves as chairman of the Edwin Everest Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing graduate-level medical education. In this role, Dr. Michael Everest continues the work of his father by helping the foundation obtain the resources to further its research, which focuses on biomedical engineering, diagnostic testing, and stem cells.
In addition to his work with the foundation, the doctor leads several companies, including HN Biotech and Residents Medical Group, a consulting firm that helps doctors secure residency positions at medical institutions. In 2012, he founded California Vein Centers, which performs laser treatments on varicose veins and ultrasound diagnostic testing. The company also donates pro bono services to individuals facing economic difficulties.
After earning his bachelor of arts from Century University, where he studied biological sciences and history, Dr. Michael Everest completed his master’s degree and doctorate at Hampshire University. His studies focused on healthcare administration and management.
