Born in Liverpool, UK, 1992. Attended Liverpool Bluecoat School, Liverpool, UK 2003 - 2010. MChem degree, Exeter College, University of Oxford, UK 2010 - 2014. Conducted Part II Master's project under the supervision of Prof. John E. McGrady at the University of Oxford, 2013 - 2014. Thesis entitled: "Computational Studies of Oxygen-Deficient Ruddlesden-Popper Phases". Conducted Doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Núria López, Institut Català d'Investigació Química (ICIQ), Tarragona, Spain. Thesis defended 13/11/2017 - "Theoretical Studies of Heterogeneous Catalysis for Halogen Chemistry". Currently engaged in postdoctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Richard Catlow as part of the START project (Synchotron Techniques for African Research and Technology), supported by the GCRF (Global Challenges Research Fund). Computational investigation of copper-based catalysts for methanol synthesis.
