About

My work explores the complex psychosocial mechanisms that relate to child mental health and well-being, predominantly through the application of critical realist frameworks in applied settings, i.e. the empirical testing of theoretically derived interventions. I have a particular interest in the assessment of impact specifically (‘what works, in which circumstances, and for whom?’) - Accordingly, a portion of my work is within a realist evaluation paradigm . My also work expands beyond realist evaluation by examining issues outside of specific interventions.
