Born in 1986 in the city of The Hague (Netherlands). Started my bachelors studies in 2005 at the University of Amsteram and graduated in 2008 as a BSc in Biology. Directly I continued my masters, as well at the University of Amsterdam, following a Limnology and Oceanography track. For my MSc thesis I spend some time in the Peruvian Andes. After graduating my masters in 2010 I started a PhD position in Kraków (Poland) at the Jagiallonian University concerning soil/litter food web stoichiometry in 2 heavy metal polluted areas.
