I am a post-doctoral researcher in the AI lab of Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. I develop multi-agent simulations of decentralized systems and apply machine learning techniques for intelligent control. I designed mechanisms for green energy trading in smart grids, based on real-world data of energy production and consumption. Previously, I was a senior research scientist at Sensing & Control Systems in Barcelona, Spain, working on smart grids and the internet of things. Prior to that, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Combinatorial Optimisation and Decision Support (CODeS) Research Group, University of Leuven in Gent, Belgium, engaged with optimisation algorithms.
