Mode locked lasers on the hybrid silicon/InP platform. High power and low noise applications.

About

Michael attained his Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2007, advised by Dr. Richard Fork. He is currently pursuing his MSE and Ph.D at the University of California in Santa Barbara, jointly advised by Dr. Dan Blumenthal and Dr. John Bowers. His research interests include integrated mode-locked lasers on the hybrid silicon platform, for high power and low noise applications.
