Dr. Mohammad Zakir Hossain has been working as a Assistant Professor in the Department Of Oral Physiology, Faculty of Dentistry, Matsumoto Dental University, Japan. He obtained his BDS from Dhaka Dental College under Dhaka University in 2001. He got Japan Government Scholarship as a PhD student from 2005 -2010 (Monbukagakusho Scholarship). He successfully obtained his PhD in Dental Science (Oral Physiology) from Niigata University, Japan in March 2010. After that he worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Oral Physiology Department, Niigata University, Japan from June 2010 to March 2012. After that worked as a Senior Lecturer in the Department Of Oral Biology & Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya, from 2013 to 2016. He has research interest in the field of Oral Physiology, Oral Biology, Oral Neuroscience, Mastication, Swallowing, Orofacial Pain, etc.
