    Mohd Nazri Mohd Warip received the B.Eng(Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University of Portsmouth, UK in 1996. He also received the M.Eng degree in Electrical-Electronic & Telecommunications from University of Technology, Malaysia in 2007. Currently, he is a PhD Research Student in the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He is engaged in research in the areas of Core Optical IP Networks and GMPLS Control Plane. He has over 11 years industrial experiences in networking and telecommunications and has successfully delivered projects in many sectors including giant telecommunication companies, universities, banks, hotels, airports and enterprises. Research Area: Optical Networks, Optical Switching and Routing, IP over WDM, GMPLS, Optical Control Plane, Green Networks, Energy Efficient Core Optical Networks, Passive Optical Networks, Broadband Networks, 100G Ethernet Transport, Grid Networks, Optical Networks Modelling using OMNeT++.
