Recently deceased, Nabil Faltas served the World Bank Group in a number of capacities over the course of his career. His most recent position involved overseeing special operations within the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation (IFC). Nabil Faltas also had worked in the IFC as a manager in the Capital Markets and Financing division, as a special advisor to the senior vice president of Capital Markets, as a division manager of Capitial Markets in Latin America and China, and as a senior investment officer in the Europe Investment department.
Mr. Faltas attended the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) on a Ford Foundation and Chancellor’s Special Studies Fellowship. After obtaining a bachelor of architecture through the School of Environmental Design, he went on to earn a master of business administration, a master of economics, and a doctor of philosophy. Nabil Faltas also enrolled at the Georgetown University School of Law and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
