    As director of San Bernardino, California’s The Counseling Team International, Dr. Nancy Bohl-Penrod provides a wide range of mental health services to clients across the country, helping law enforcement and other emergency personnel handle traumas faced in the course of duty. With more than 25 years of experience, Nancy Bohl-Penrod has counseled men and women after some of the largest American crises in recent history, including the Oklahoma City bombing, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and numerous wildfires and natural disasters. As a testament to her expertise, she sits on the boards of several mental health and law enforcement organizations, has published her research in various peer-reviewed journals, has spoken at the FBI Academy, and teaches at colleges and universities in California. She also serves on the team at Spirit of the Law and leads crisis and trauma counseling at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Nancy Bohl-Penrod earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the California Graduate Institute and an M.A. in education and counseling from California State University, San Bernardino.
