About

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My advisor is Professor Marianne Winslett. I received Master of Information Science and Technology and Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Computer Sciences with Kusumoto Award from Osaka University. Before joining UIUC in August 2009, I worked at Astellas Pharma Inc. as a cheminformatics researcher and a corporate IT staff. In Summer 2011, I interned at Simulmedia in the Attention Science Team as a fellow of the NYC Turing Fellows Program. From October 2011 to October 2012, I interned as a research fellow under the supervision of Dr. Bao Feng at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R) under A*STAR Research Attachment Programme (ARAP) in Singapore.
