Nelson J. Trujillo-Barreto was born in Sancti-Spiritus, Cuba in 1972. He received his BSc degree with honours in Nuclear Physics in 1995 from the Institute for Nuclear Science and Technology of Havana. In 2006 he received the PhD degree with Honours in Physics from Havana University. His PhD dissertation was on “Bayesian methods for the analysis of functional Neuroimages”. Since 1995 untill 2013 he was with the Brain Dynamics Department of the Cuban Neuroscience Center, where he was a Senior Research Fellow and the Head of the Department. Currently he works as a Research Fellow in Electromagnetic Tomography at the Institute of Brain, Behaviour and Mental Health of the University of Manchester.
