Dr. Nilanjan Roy is Professor & Director of ARIBAS, Anand, Gujrat. He has MSc (Biochemistry) from Kalyani University and PhD (Genetics) from the Bose Institute Kolkata. He also held postdoctoral and academic posts at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland Ohio USA. His primary research interests lie in Target discovery of communicable and systemic diseases pertain to diseases caused by Tripanosomatidae and Oxidative stress. Currently he is coordinating a EU funded cross-disciplinary team (India, Portugal, France, Spain & Italy) and working on target based drug discovery program pertains to diseases caused by Tripanosomatides.
