About

I am research associate at Culture Lab, Newcastle University funded by EPSRC SiDE research hub (connected home & community project). I focus on quantitative analysis of human motion, captured with pervasive and body-worn sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes. My main aim is to develop novel methods and metrics that quantify human performance with applications in medicine and rehabilitation, where the dynamics of motor abilities is of particular interest. In general I am interested in deep learning, generative modelling and latent variable models along with non-linear time-series analysis.
