Nuno Miguel Fonseca Ferreira graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in the Polytechnic of Coimbra in Electrotechnical Engineering (1994). Is graduated with a ’Licenciatura’ at the University of Porto in Electrotechnical Engineering (1996) He conclude the Master degree in Electrotechnical Engineering, at the University of Porto, with the thesis entitle “Simulação Dinâmica e Controlo de Robôs Industriais”, orientated by Professor Martins de Carvalho and Professor J. A. Tenreiro Machado of the Electrotechnical Engineering of the University of Porto (1999). He terminate the PhD degree at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Electrical Engineering with the thesis entitle “Sistemas Dinâmicos e Controlo de Robôs Cooperantes”, orientated by Professor J. A. Tenreiro Machado of the Institute of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto and Professor José Boaventura Cunha of the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (2006). Since 1997 he works at the Institute of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra and presently he is a Professor in Electrotechnical Engineering and he is developing his research in Robotics and Control Systems.
