About

I am currently work on the project "The mapping of areas filled in high-energy particles at the level of 550 km above the Earth's surface based on the interpretation of the observations made by Polish and Ukrainian spectrophotometer SphinX and electrons and protons telescope STEP-F". The goal of project is to determine physical properties of particles (high energy electrons and protons) filling the magnetosphere. They were crossed frequently by CORONAS-Photon satellite at the altitude of ~550 km set to the polar, sun-synchronous orbit. The measurements performed in 2009, during a deep minimum of recent 11-year cycle (cycles 23 & 24) of solar activity, by the two experiments: placed aboard, namely: Polish SphinX and Ukrainian STEP−F. In the project we make common interpretation of existing databases collected by both instruments. We create maps showing the distribution of the various kinds of high-energy particles in available energy ranges.
