Expert on smart cities in comparative perspective, comparative telcos regulation and innovation in education. Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences, European University Institute. Specialist with 18 years experience in Spain, the United States and Italy. Olga Gil has international experience in the corporate sector and the academia. In 2003 she joined Ana Botin team in Banesto (Office of the Chairman --financial sector, 9,700 employees, profits 765 m. euros, national and internacional shareholders, a member of Santander Group). There she was in charge of instituctional communications and sustainibility and social responsibility reports. Olga also coordinated the development of technologically innovative prototypes for marketing and communication purposes. Olga is also a specialist on event amplification, web project management and multimedia, usability and customer experience management. She has developed the online communication strategy of the Association of Fulbright Alumni based social networking, community building and online positioning. She teaches courses on web2.0 at John Hopkins in Spain, UNIA, and the Menendez Pelayo International University.
