About

I am a lecturer/senior lecturer at Nottingham Trent university, England. My background is mostly one of computing. I have a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Nottingham), a BSc in Physics (QMC London), an MSc in IT (Nottingham), and my PhD was in computational linguistics (in which I created an automatic glossary maker for any factual texts). I am interested in term extraction, automatic indexing/glossary making, machine translation (particularly for Welsh and Cornish, both P-Celtic languages), and morphological processing (e.g. for Latin). My most recent research interest is the evolution of language.
