About

Paul graduated from the University of Hull in 2000 receiving a BA (Hon’s) in Interactive Design. Paul completed his in-service PGCE whilst working as a Lecturer at Hull College, South East Essex College and Doncaster College. Paul was awarded his PGCE in 2005 by the University of Hull. Paul’s first position after completing his degree studies was as an Interactive Designer for BT in Leeds, and then as a Senior IT Project Manager, for a local government project in York establishing one of the first flash based ‘VLE’ pilots in the Yorkshire area in 2001, its objective to deliver training via the Internet to childminders in rural areas. Due to its pioneering aspects at the time and due to its success the project was presented to the UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair at his request at No 10 Downing Street. Further to this Paul was MD of Cybertech Support Services Ltd in 2002, mainly working with various public and private sector clients to produce e-learning and marketing materials as well as producing interactive cd-roms. • Established one of the first flash based distance learning pilots in the UK. • Presented a pioneering elearning project to Tony Blair – UK Gov. • Achieved 100% pass rate for MCP training for Hull NTI using elearning courses. • Responsible for students passing 2000 GCSE qualifications in Hull schools. • Represented CBDS Ltd as Vice Principal in Bradford, UK. • Mentored over 300 teachers through their teacher training qualifications. • Managing Director of Cybertech Support Services Ltd, Hull, UK. • Moderator for OCR Media courses in the UK.   • PCM2U was established in 2004 as a supplier to local educational authorities. However it has diversified since its inception and is now involved in the development and implementation of LMS platforms such as MOODLE and also the offering of support service
