About

Paula Dawidowicz began her postdoctoral efforts by developing training programs for businesses. She joined Walden’s faculty in 2005, teaching writing courses, developing and teaching the literature review development course, and serving as a Ph.D. student mentor and KAM course instructor. In 2007, she became a Ph.D. program specialization administrator, working with faculty and students to create strong mentoring links and student success. In 2008, she became the Ph.D. in Education research administrator. She has assisted numerous students with research planning, execution, and reporting. She actively seeks opportunities to assist students with research interests and to partner with students in conducting research. Paula’s research agenda developed long before her graduation, however. As a B. A., she analyzed political, military, and social environments. Part of that process was researching the social, cultural, environmental resources and attitudes of different entities. She became a systems, social, societal, and logic analyst, and evolved her knowledge about researching those subject areas during her Master’s and Doctoral programs. Focused now on the functioning of social systems and development of systems thinking, she continues to compare, contrast, and examine the educational applications and instruction of such skills and their impact on the social and systemic challenges existing today. As a systems researcher, often her agenda appears scattered. But, in true systems form, it examines the interaction of seemingly disconnected or disjointed topics that interact to influence larger systemic activities.
