Pavel Vaclavek received MSc. and Ph.D. degrees in cybernetics from Brno University of Technology in 1993 and 2001, respectively. He received also MSc. degree in industrial management in 1998 from Brno University of Technology. He works at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Department of Control and Instrumentation as a researcher and lecturer since 1993 and as an associate professor since 2006. In 2011 he became the research group “Sensors and Industrial Processes Control” leader at the Central European Institute of Technology. His research interests include advanced control of electrical drives, predictive control, non-linear systems analysis and control, system modelling and parameters estimation.
