About

I am currently working on metabolism of (p)ppGpp, a key molecule responsible for stringent response in bacteria and its implication in gut homeostasis. I am trying to find out the novel components in (p)ppGpp mediated stress response and their molecular mechanism of gut homeostasis, taking V. cholerae as a model organism as it is different from E. coli which is the most widely studied bacteria but lacks SAS genes. I am also working on antibiotic resistance gram negative pathogens.
