He is a doctorate student in business law at the University of Barcelona. He was previously a researcher recruited from the Department of Private Law and the Institute for Legal Research, both from the University of Barcelona. He has been a professor at the University of Havana and the National University of Asuncion and a guest professor at universities in Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil. He has conducted research stays in Mexico, Canada, and the Netherlands. Pérez Carbó holds a degree in Law from the University of Havana and a Master's Degree in Business and Business Law from the University of Barcelona. Pérez Carbó's research develops in European and Anglo-Saxon company law. His work on corporate law focuses on corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, especially on the rights of minority shareholders and investors.
