One of the main activities is related to group theory, the use of symmetries, applying it to all sorts of topics in physics: Nucklear physics, particle physics, field theory and cosmology. In nuclear physics I work on algebraic and geometric models of nuclei, nuclear molecules and cluster physics in general. In field theory I made contributions to general formulations, renormalization and bound state physics. In particle physics I concentrate on models for hadrons and non-perturbative methods applied to QCD at low energy. In cosmology we developped a so-called seudo-General Relativity, which includes a minimal length. In that theory there are no balck holes, though still large mass aclomerations, just without an event horizon.
