Peter Trombetti

  • BS

Throughout his more than 20 years in business consulting and candidate placement, Peter Trombetti has focused on optimizing human resources to support organizational development. He currently serves as managing partner of The Oficio Group, a firm he founded to match engineering talent with executive and management positions. Formerly focused on placing military transition candidates, Peter Trombetti now places qualified candidates in manufacturing and chemical engineering. Peter Trombetti oversees the screening and vetting of all potential candidates within the firm, 98 percent of whom he places within seven to 30 days. Attending to all areas of a candidate's qualifications, he considers technical knowledge and experience, as well as organizational culture, before suggesting a match. As a result, both client companies and candidates regularly testify to his professionalism, attentiveness, and effectiveness at making a strong match. An active individual with a diverse range of interests, Peter Trombetti pursues both physical and intellectual hobbies. He reads two newspapers each day, including the Wall Street Journal and the Providence Journal, as well as one business-related book per month. He engages in a strict daily fitness regimen through the TRX training system and enjoys snowboarding in the winter months. He is currently engaged in learning the sport of kite boarding, a water sport that incorporates elements of wake boarding and windsurfing.
