I am a post-doctoral fellow in clinical psychology at the Anxiety Treatment Center of Austin under the supervision of Dr. Diana Damer, where I specialize in treating social anxiety, dating anxiety, OCD, and anger issues. I completed my Ph.D. at Suffolk University, where I was mentored by Dr. Susan Orsillo. My clinical training has encompassed a wide range of settings and clinical populations, and has familiarized me with many different facets of modern behavioral healthcare. My past research has focused on behavior change (specifically alcohol use disorders among college students) and the development and implementation of acceptance-based interventions; my current focus is social anxiety/shyness and social-cognitive deficits, and their effects on relationship formation. The integration of empirical science and clinical work is something I value, and I have worked as a consultant for a variety of organizations to provide statistical analyses, quality-improvement systems, and clinical leadership. I also have a strong interest in teaching and clinical training, and have taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
