About

I'm currently focussing on presynaptic mechanisms that regulate actin dynamics function in vesicle exocytosis, exploiting a number of conditional and conventional knockout mouse models of actin binding proteins that we have generated in the lab. The topic has relevance for synaptic excitability, which is the basis of the understanding of several neurologic diseases such as autism and epilepsy.
