About

My research interest pertains to the estimation of atmospheric precipitable water vapour (PWV) and its variability by using GPS signal delays. In addition, high precision position information are also utilized to measure present crustal deformation state for possible identification of seismic risks. I analyze high precision GPS data using GAMIT/GLOBK suit of computer code developed at MIT. Currently I am associate with data processing, analyzing and interpretation of the GPS data accumulated from all over India at CSIR-4PI. In addition, I am experimenting with WRF NWP model for weather forecast improvement. I extensively use MATLAB/OCATVE scripting, Linux shell-scripting, C/C++, FORTRAN programming to carry out my objectives. I look further to utilize my hard earned expertise for further development in the GPS based geodesy and meteorology.
