Qun Han received the M.S. degree in optics from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2003, and the Ph. D. degree in physical electronics from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2006. Currently, he is an Associate Professor with the School of Precision Instrument and Opto-electronics Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin, China. From 2011 to 2012, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO, USA. His current research interests include fiber amplifiers and lasers, fiber sensors, and optical materials. He is the author or co-author of over 100 scientific papers and has been authorized six patents and two scientific awards.
