Dr. Lahlali is a Research Professor of Plant Pathology at the Ecole Nationale d'Agriculture de Meknes (Morocco) . He obtained his BSc in Plant Protection from National School of Agriculture (ENA-Meknes), Morocco, and his MSc and PhD degrees in Agronomy and Biological Sciences with honor Plant Pathology from Gembloux Agro-Bio-Tech, University of Liege (Belgium). He worked as a Scientist at Canadian Light Source Inc., University of Saskatchewan and he carried out several post-doctoral research positions in the Laboratory of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Saskatoon Research Centre (4 years) as well as in Plant Research Institute, University of Montreal ( 2 years) and Gembloux Agro Bio-Tech, University of Liege (1 year). Dr. Lahlali'so Lab main research interests include the study of plant microbe interactions, phytomycology, molecular plant pathology, mechanisms involved in the plant's response to abiotic and biotic stress factors, and the application of synchrotron (X-ray) science for plant improvement.
