In 1981 he honours graduated from Bashkir State Medical University (Ufa, Russia) in 1986 — the target graduate Research Institute of Human Morphology of Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR (Moscow, Russia) and defended the thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences (MD, PhD). In 1986–1991 he worked at the Bashkir State Medical University at the Department of Pathology and Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology. In 1991 he was transferred to work in a Branch of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov in Ulyanovsk (since 1994 renamed Ulyanovsk State University) in connection with the election of the contest. Since 1992 he has been working as Head of the Department of Human Anatomy of the Medical Faculty. In 2003, a single meeting of the conjoint Dissertation Council of the First Moscow State Medical University IM Sechenov and Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov he thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences, in 2006 he became a Professor. He is the first and only scientist in Russia, which has the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the scientific specialty «Anthropology» in accordance with the Russian national list of scientific specialties. In 2003–2010, he headed by the Regional Centre for Telemedicine, and he was Deputy Director of the Institute of Medicine, Environment and Physical Education of Ulyanovsk State University in information technology, and a freelance on telemedicine specialist in the Ministry of Health of the Ulyanovsk region of Russia. He is a member of the Council (since 1992) and of the Board (since 2012) of the Russian Scientific Medical Society of Anatomists, Histologists and Embryologists (RSSAHE), and a member of the European Anthropological Association (since 2000), of the International Academy of Integrative Anthropology, is also a member of two dissertation councils for the defense of doctoral theses in medical fields and biological sciences at the Ulyanovsk State University. Since 2010 he is a member of the Scientific Problem Commission «Morphogenesis of cells, tissues and body» of the Human Morphology Scientific Council of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
