Raffaele has a PhD in Business Engineering from 'Università Roma 3' with a thesis based on knowledge sharing barriers and communities of practice in a primary Italian automotive company. Prior to joining this position Raffaele has worked as teaching assistant and lecturer in marketing at 'Kemmy Business School', Department of Marketing and Management, University of Limerick and for 6 years in Italy at La Sapienza Università di Roma, where he has got his post-doc. Moreover, he has been visiting Phd at Euro-Mediterranean incubator in e-Business Management, Università del Salento. Raffaele has developed and worked on several research projects and he has collaborated as consultant and business analyst in primary Italian consulting agencies. Raffaele has several research interests, his actual research focuses on strategic management (social capital, intra and inter-firm knowledge sharing, innovation) to industrial and online marketing (e-word of mouth, consumer co-creation, consumer innovation), to knowledge management (knowledge management systems, knowledge retrieval, knowledge reuse). His actual publications include the book: 'Overcoming knowledge sharing barriers through communities of practice', journal articles and book chapters in Cambridge University Press books, IGI Global Publishing, the Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Business Strategy, and several papers in peer reviewed conferences.
