I graduated in Computer Science Engineering and received a PhD in Automation and Operational Research at the University of Bologna, focusing my activities on Mobile Robotics, Multi Robot Coordination, Swarm Intelligence and Complex Adaptive Systems.
My interests also involve Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary Robotics, Con-
trol & Graph Theory, Autonomous Navigation, Obstacle Avoidance, Reactive Path Planning, Meta-Heuristics Optimization and Probabilistic Robotics.
Currently I’m studying the application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning on different real problems connected with Robotics Perception and Computer Vision’s pattern recognition.
Finally, I’m developing my own terrestrial and aerial robots in order to design and implement portable algorithms suitable for long-term Autonomous Navigation on every kind of vehicle.
I have acquired extensive experience in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence,
working as a university researcher and a R&D engineer in industries. The main goal of my work is building full-autonomous systems and intelligent algorithms able to interact with surrounding environment.
