Biology & Taxonomy of Scuttle Fly (Diptera:Phoridae)Medical EntomologyForensic Entomology

I am specialized as an expert in the field of forensic entomology with special interest in the biology of forensically important flies and their significant role in determining time of death. I have the skills to recover insect evidence at a crime scene and the ability to conduct field and laboratory research. As an avid fan of insects, I have the knowledge on the biology and bionomics of forensically important flies, as well as the taxonomy of forensic insect species. Currently, my field of interest is bionomics of scuttle fly (Diptera: Phoridae) in forensic entomology. I have a vast experience of handling forensic specimens received from Royal Malaysian Police and forensic department in government hospitals, and served as an expert witness to testify in high profile murder cases. I teach forensic entomology as a full semester course for forensic science students and I have been invited as a speaker in short courses and training in forensic entomology.
