Raúl Prellezo works as principal researcher in the marine research Division of AZTI. He has over eighteen years of experience in economic research, specifically dealing with the socio-economic aspects of fisheries. He has conducted project research on the impacts that fishing gear and technology have on the natural growth and optimal harvest rates. In 2007 he finalized a MBA. Currently he is member of the STECF and of the steering committee of EAFE.
