About

I was born in Palamós, a town and municipality in the Mediterranean Costa Brava, located in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. I am an Aeronautical engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), located in Castelldefels (Barcelona). I joined the university's research group as intern in March 2013 and collaborated in some on-going research activities related with aircraft trajectory optimisation and optimal control. In September 2015 I enrolled the UPC as PhD candidate in the doctoral program of Aerospace Science and Technology, being Dr. Xavier Prats my PhD advisor. In this PhD, a trajectory optimisation algorithm will be developed and combined with a robust guidance strategy based on model predictive control to achieve environmentally-friendly descents in presence of time constraints.
