I am a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University (Cairo, Egypt). I have previously had a Visiting Scientist position at the Systems Biology Research Group, Department of Bioengineering, UC San Diego, and adjunct faculty appointment at San Diego State University and the American University in Cairo.
