Raymond A. Hopkins, a contracts representative in Mesa, Arizona where he has been employed since 1983 by The Boeing Company that designs, produces and supports the AH-64D Longbow Apache Helicopter used in defending the United States and its allies around the globe. While employed by Boeing as an international purchasing agent and later as its international contracts representative, he has done business in South Korea, Japan, Colombia, Denmark and the United Kingdom. He has additionally pursued a career as adjunct faculty in international business at Mesa Community College, Mesa, Arizona.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 4, 1950 and was raised in Whittier, California. He is a graduate of California State University Fullerton, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. His further academic achievements include a Master of Science degree in public administration from California State University-Los Angeles and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He is a member of Sigma Beta Delta National Honor Society in Business and Management.
Dr. Hopkins is married to the former Madeleine Morrissey of Whittier, California. The Hopkins family, residing in Gilbert, Arizona, includes son, David, and daughter, Joanna.
