With a long history of philanthropic and civic involvement, Remedios Diaz-Oliver plays an active role at several organizations in her Miami hometown and beyond. To this end, Remedios Diaz-Oliver sits on the board of directors of Florida International University, the Cuban Liberty Council, the Public Health Trust, the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda, and other groups dedicated to the public good.
