My study aims to explore and map out STI/HIV risk and vulnerabilities across locations among long distance commuting (LDC) workforce with a focus on mining, oil and gas industry. Identifying both individual and contextual factors which influence sexual health and which are associated with particular social spaces could help the public health sector and natural resource industry provide targeted health interventions within the most relevant context. Results may also be generalizable to the greater population especially those involved in frequent travel.
