Richard Garcia-Lebron is a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in mathematics with a specialization in applied mathematics in the Computer Science Department at the University of Puerto Rio-Rio Piedras. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico - Rio Piedras. He received the Gauss Award and is also a former fellow of the NSF Bridge to the Doctorate fellowship. His areas of interest are: spectral algorithms, data mining, computer vision and connectomics. His future interest is to complete a Ph. D. in Computer Science.
