    Richard Kaplan is the founder, chief executive officer, and president of Syndicated Equities in Chicago. Possessing more than four decades of experience in the local and national real estate markets, he oversees all investment and operational aspects of Syndicated Equities. Over the course of his career, he has played a role in more than $3 billion of real estate transactions, including commercial and residential properties nationwide. His company currently controls about $1 billion in real estate assets on behalf of investors. Richard Kaplan also established the Syndicated Access Funds, which takes advantage of various global opportunities. Prior to founding Syndicated Equities, he created and grew a real estate firm focused on the purchase and sale of investment and personal properties. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Richard Kaplan maintains a strong commitment to giving back to the Chicago community. He supports One Goal, which funds scholarships and other educational opportunities for underserved high school students. In addition, he mentors at a public elementary school through Prospective Charter.
