About

My interests span from entrepreneurship and innovation through to organisational culture and sociology. In particular, my research focussed on the social dimension of entrepreneurship and the creation of organisations in different social contexts, drawing on a range of qualitative methods and research philosophies. I have also conducted research into corporate venturing, intrapreneurship, enterprise education and educational simulations/games. Before beginning my academic career I was project manager at a small HRM-solutions internet company in London, during its stock market flotation and subsequent growth. Roles: Co-Editor for International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Research, Trustee of the Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Member of the Review Board for Journal of Small Business Management Memberships: Fellow of Higher Education Academy, Member of Academy of Management, International Council of Small Business, Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, British Academy of Management.
