About

Robert W. Hughes graduated in Chemistry at University College London in 1999. He then moved to the University of South- ampton where he obtained a PhD in solid state chemistry in 2004 and remained as a post- doctoral research assistant until 2007. He was a WestCHEM Research Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow from 2007 - 2011. From 2012 - 2014 he was a Visiting Researcher in Materials Science at UIUC. His research interests include microwave-assisted nano-materials synthesis, structural investigations using neutron diffraction and in-situ high temperature X-ray diffraction. He is currently working for Wiley-VCH in Germany as an Assistant Editor for Chemistry - A European Journal and ChemistrySelect
