    About

Robert Kasirer embarked on his multifaceted career in the nursing-home industry by following in the footsteps of his parents. Survivors of Nazi-occupied Europe, they immigrated to the United States and ultimately cofounded Golden State Health Centers, a full-service senior-care organization headquartered in Sherman Oaks, California. Robert Kasirer was raised in and around the Golden State facilities, helping with chores on the weekends and learning from the health care and administrative expertise of his mother and father. He ultimately took executive control of the business and assumed management of all Golden State primary nursing facilities and ancillary services. Formerly “of counsel” with the Los Angeles, California, law firm of Manatt, Phelps, Rothenberg & Phillips, Robert Kasirer holds a juris doctor from the St. John's University School of Law in Queens, New York. Mr. Kasirer is also an accomplished innovator, who created a groundbreaking system and user interface that can manage intermediate health care facilities over various computer networks.
