An insurance agent with real estate expertise and almost 30 years of experience, Robin Walker Heffron started her career in Charleston, South Carolina, in the HMO business in the mid-1980s prior to switching to the PPO industry. In addition to her work with firms such as Blue Cross of South Carolina, and Travelers Insurance, Ms. Heffron worked as a licensed real estate agent for Prudential. Over the past several years, Robin Walker Heffron co-founded a licensed independent Property and Casualty Insurance agency that she formed in 2010 with the help of two partners. The agency has blossomed from a start-up to a thriving business.
As a result of her guidance, Carolina One Insurance earned a nomination for the Rainmaker Award at the annual Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Conference. The company assists more than 700 real estate agents and provides insurance coverage for their clients.
In addition to her insurance-based work, Robin Walker Heffron is heavily involved in community work. Widowed for almost two decades, she assists with administering of the Randall G. Heffron, DMD, Scholarship, awarded in honor of her deceased husband. Ms. Heffron has also contributed to the Jenkins Orphanage Project and is in the process of developing The Randall Heffron Foundation in memory of her son. The Foundation will offer assistance to non-profit organizations that serve the health and well being of children.
