Rocco Servidio, is an assistant professor in Social Psychology at the Department of Languages and Educational Science at the University of Calabria (Southern Italy).
The areas of his research interest are media and Internet psychology with particular attention on social media abuse-risk, and human-computer interaction with the focus on edutainment.
He is especially interested in researching on the effects of digital media technology on human behavior as a factor in explaining, on the one hand, the inappropriate use of the multiple kinds of technological applications, and the other hand, their positive effects on human learning.
Rocco also studies the application of information technology in the field of tourism and, in particular, the cognitive and affective components that influence the destination image and its formation in the tourist's mind.
