I studied Biochemistry as a Grad student in the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. Nevertheless, molecular and cell biology were my main interests. After graduating I worked a few years with Giardia lamblia in Dr. Hugo Lujan´s lab, working on antigenic variation and protein trafficking. I moved to Dr. Hugo Maccioni´s lab in 2008 and started working on a more general approach to protein trafficking, from a bioinformatics and molecular biology point of view.
