I currently work on a project investigating estuarine transition to hyper-turbidity through tipping point behavior. - Identifying the physical mechanisms underlying the transition from natural to hyper-turbid states in estuaries under anthropogenic and climatic pressure. - Co-developing an advanced mathematical 2DV exploratory model for hydro- and sediment dynamics (iFlow) in collaboration with Delft University of Technology, in which one can intu- itively include various idealized modules for hydrodynamics, morphodynamics, ecology, etc.
